The proposed rules provide interpretation of and guidance on the application of the Michigan Business Tax Act (MBTA). The proposed rules contain clarification of terms and explanation of elements of the MBTA that are new to a business tax in Michigan.

School Bond Qualification, Approval, and Loan Rules

The amendments will clarify the rules pertaining to the School Bond Qualification and Loan Program including refunding of outstanding school bond loans; the mandatory final loan repayment date; and other revisions.
